"We Care"

Who Are We?

We are a health-focused Non-Profit Organisation registered in 2013 that advocates for and are held accountable to the community leaders who serve as trustees and represent the community we strive to serve. Rather than making a profit, we use funding and donations received to reinvest in the health and well-being of the community to achieve improved health outcomes for all. We are working in partnership and collaboration with relevant private organisations to provide care, treatment support, treatment counselling and literacy, health education, prevention and awareness. We are serving as a Stepdown Program to the Government Clinic, Hospitals, Households and Private Clinics.

Our Vision

Improved quality of life for terminally ill persons and their families including those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and other opportunistic infections.

Our Values

Accessibility, Transparency, Integrity and Honesty.

Our Mission

Work in collaboration and partnership with relevant public and private organisations to provide care, treatment support, education and counselling to the impoverished and needy residents of the Waterberg District who are terminally ill, living with HIV, TB and with other opportunistic infections.

Our Services and Beneficiaries

Home-Based Care, Palliative Care, Support Groups for people living with HIV & TB and for those living with addiction to drugs, alcohol, etc. Health education, prevention and awareness.  We serve primarily the community of Vaalwater and Leseding, but are available for the greater Waterberg District.

Our beneficiaries are the impoverished and needy residents of Vaalwater suburb and Leseding Township living with terminal illness; and/or living with HIV/AIDS; and/or infected with opportunistic infections, including but not limited to Tuberculosis (TB), and or those in need of home-based care and palliative care who are unable to pay for medical services.

We Strive to

Better understand patients’ environments, needs, and constraints that can improve care and ultimately outcomes. Decreased hospitalisations and urgent care use when acute incidents are prevented or addressed in the home. Improved health and wellbeing. Reduction in stigma and discrimination (changes in HIV/AIDS-related attitudes/beliefs).
